About
Are you an experienced Administrator or Receptionist with excellent customer-facing skills? We have an exciting opportunity at a hospital in Sutton Coldfield for a temporary assignment with the potential for extension.
As an Outpatients Reception Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and professional experience. You will also provide administrative support to the department, requiring strong computer literacy and attention to detail.

Job Description
📍 Location: Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.
📆 Contract: Initially month-by-month (likely to be extended).
🕘 Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:00 pm (shift flexibility required).
🚀 Start Date: ASAP.
Requirements
✔️ Provide a warm and professional welcome to patients and visitors.
✔️ Manage patient bookings, records, and general administrative tasks.
✔️ Use hospital systems to maintain accurate data and support outpatient services.
✔️ Ensure all enquiries are handled efficiently and professionally.
✔️ Work flexible shifts between 07:00 – 20:30 (7.5-hour shifts).
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Previous experience in administration or reception, ideally within healthcare.
✅ Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a busy environment.
✅ Fully computer literate with excellent attention to detail.
✅ Own transport required due to shift patterns.
✅ Ability to start ASAP and commit to full training.
