Job Description

We are seeking experienced Mental Health Nurses to join various community mental health teams in Cornwall. These roles involve managing caseloads, providing high-quality care, and supporting patients with mental health challenges. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient-centred care, and the ability to work independently. The positions are full-time and offer an opportunity to make a significant impact on the well-being of the local community.

Requirements

To be considered for these positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Professional Qualification: Hold a valid registration as a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist.

Experience: Demonstrable experience in community mental health settings, preferably within the NHS or similar healthcare environments. Specific experience in crisis intervention, home treatment teams, or case coordination is highly desirable.

Skills and Competencies: Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills, with the ability to manage complex cases. Competency in administering depot injections (for RMN positions).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

Compliance: Ability to provide a complete and up-to-date CV detailing relevant experience and qualifications.
Willingness to undergo necessary background checks, including enhanced DBS clearance. Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Availability: Willingness to work full-time hours, with flexibility for shifts, including long days, nights, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
