Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking Band 2/3 Early Years Practitioners to support Reading Childcare Nursery. Job Description

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting the development, learning, and well-being of children within the nursery setting. Working as part of a dedicated childcare team, you will help implement engaging activities, promote a safe and stimulating environment, and ensure the highest standards of care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and support for young children in a nurturing environment.
Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Observe and record children's developmental progress, sharing insights with the team and parents.
Work collaboratively within a team-focused nursery setting, ensuring the best outcomes for children.

Requirements

Experience in early years education or childcare (nursery, preschool, or similar setting).
Passion for child development and learning.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to create a fun, engaging, and safe environment for children.
Knowledge of safeguarding policies and early years best practices.
