About
Are you a reliable and physically fit Porter looking for a temporary role in a hospital setting? We have an exciting opportunity available at a Southampton Hospital for a 1-month assignment, with an immediate start.
Job Description
๐ Location: Southampton, Hampshire.
๐ Contract: 1-month assignment.
๐ Hours: Monday โ Friday, 12:00 pm โ 8:00 pm.
๐ Start Date: ASAP.
Requirements
โ๏ธ Assist with moving patients as directed by theatre managers and ward staff.
โ๏ธ Deliver and sort hospital stores across the site.
โ๏ธ Manage clinical and domestic waste, including bin removals.
โ๏ธ Collect drugs and fluids from the pharmacy.
โ๏ธ Support the engineering team, including assembling hospital furniture and equipment.
โ๏ธ Carry out general portering duties as directed by the Head Porter.
What Weโre Looking For:

Enhanced DBS check (required).
โ
Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
โ
A team player with strong communication skills.
โ
Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is desirable but not essential.
